Maureen Millen, Executive Producer:
Ms. Millen has produced and distributed video and television programming for the past 20 years and has successfully launched many original productions, including nine that involve the natural products industry. She is the co-creator of JaneSeymour.TV, the Producer / Financier / Distributor and Co-creator of the award-winning series, Healthy Living, hosted by Jane Seymour (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.)
During her career, Ms. Millen has worked with many Oscar and Emmy winning producers in the development, distribution and financing of independently produced projects. As an independent program distributor, she has distributed programming throughout the PBS system. A partial list of the programs include: Mars, The Red Planet, winner of 3 Emmy Awards; Reservoirs of Strength, winner of 11 major market awards; Aerobic Prayer Series; Herbs: From Ancient Remedies To Main Stream Medicine; “The Essentials of Chi with Dr. Roger Janke; Nichola Tesla: The Life and Times of a Forgotten Genius; Herbal Remedies From Your Garden; The Gifts of Fathering: I Am Your Child (by Rob Reiner); Visions of a New World, by Emmy Award winning producer/ director, Nicholas Eliopolus. Some of the distributed include Campfire Café, Two Lane Traveller (Emmy nominated), Primary Focus, Soy Matters and Body & Soul. Her freelance work has also been used by CNN, TBN, ABC, PBS, WB, FOX, CBS, 20/20, 60 minutes, National Geo, and many cable networks.
Majoring in accounting at the University of Houston, she was first exposed to video assets and television distribution as the result of a complicated business acquisition. Her experience includes the negotiation of rights acquisition, domestic and foreign; sourcing of talent, crew and locations; and creation of projects from dream to screen. She extensive knowledge of licensing and merchandising and has negotiated at network levels, from the pitch all the way to contract draft - ready for legal department to sign-off. She has personally generated millions of dollars in sponsorships, underwriting, advertising, distribution and other media-oriented revenue.
Hands on experience includes senior executive experience in copy writing, storyboarding, developing on-air promos, unique scene creation and scripting for specific, yet subtle product placements – a very lucrative area in media. Ms. Millen is an experienced national media buyer, and has worked with Madison Avenue and Vine St. caliber advertising agencies
Jeff West:
Mr. West has a 26 year career in the Natural Food and Nutritional Supplement Industries as a buyer and manager of large natural food grocery departments, or more likely, multi-million-dollar a year nutritional supplement departments for the likes of Bread of Life, Whole Foods and Wild Oats Markets. Jeff has had extensive interaction and experience with Alternative Holistic Practitioners and strong education in all aspects of nutritional supplements and whole foods, along with a solid grasp on herbology and homeopathy. West has played a large part in the evolution of this industry over two and a half decades.
West gained his knowledge by interfacing with natural foods manufacturers, scientists who formulate nutritional supplements, nutritional product suppliers, nationally renowned holistic MD’s, as well as Master herbalists, homeopaths and product representatives. He has participated in countless hundreds of trainings, seminars, new product reviews and unveilings. Two decades of trade shows have provided West with a solid understanding on what is being brought forward to the health conscious consumer year in and year out. West has even been sought out to select product mixes for entire natural foods stores, both the natural foods and supplement/body care end of the operation.
Jeff initiated two start-ups, SkyIsland Naturals and Divinely Naked, both companies offered the highest quality raw, whole food nutritional powders and bars in the industry and were fully market tested and professionally endorsed.
His customers included the likes of world renowned alternative medical doctor and author, Gabriel Cousens M.D., Director of the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Patagonia AZ. West is leaving the door open for the re-emergence of his world class line of whole food products.
Linda Roxanne Bryer:
As an Executive Producer & Award-winning Copywriter Linda Roxanne Bryer brings to the table considerable marketing, advertising, public relations, writing/ editing & production expertise, the result of more than 25 years of experience, starting on Madison Avenue, New York.
Her talents meld into a smoothly blended mix of marketing, award-winning copywriting, and public relations and promotional practices and strategies that come together seamlessly. Working closely with key executives, Linda Roxanne has originated and implemented an array of strategic, national multi-media PR promotions campaigns in a variety of industries, across the gamut of media: print, online, radio, TV, video, live performances, concerts, press conferences, and special events, including theatre, sports, and more. These production campaigns -- which are a skillful combination of print, online, and radio publicity -- are all perfectly intertwined to integrate the best of all possible PR worlds, marrying traditional and social media outreach.
With an undergraduate degree in English from NJ University, and graduate studies conducted at New York University in Advertising & Promotional Writing, Linda was trained well. She has created every conceivable type of marketing material known to man, as well as online and offline advertising, website content, press releases, articles, manuals, white papers, catalogs, interviews, comedy skits, radio jingles & commercials, TV spots, video scripts.
Originally working with such companies as Church & Dwight, Arm & Hammer, Gillette Toiletries, and Scott Paper Company, Linda then branched out into the natural health industry once she moved to California. She has worked in all facets of the industry: Specialty Nutrients, of all kinds-- vitamins, minerals, herbal lines, homeopathics, nutraceuticals, organics, natural foods and beverages, health and beauty, sports/fitness nutrition, and an array of authors, lecturers, personalities, MDs, NDs and other practitioners.
Linda Roxanne was the recipient of Monterey Bay Sammy Awards: Silver for copywriting in a print medium, and Bronze for an electronic medium (radio campaign). She was also awarded a United States Utility Patent for a niche invention, and wrote the website for that as well. She has been a long time Bay Area resident, loves both coasts, and loves to create! Linda Roxanne’s slogan is “Providing the missing piece in your marketing puzzle,” and it fits her range of expertise to a “T.”
Pamela A. Burt
Pam began her foray into the natural health arena in 1986 with the "Here's To Your Health" nationally syndicated radio show heard on over 200 stations nationally with Deborah Ray, M.T. (ASCP) and starring the late Dr. Donald J. Carrow M.D., Radio's Medical Maverick. Pam fondly recalls learning as much as possible about the Natural Products Industry from the people who "walked the walk".
Pam went on to represent such stellar radio shows as "The Laura Lee Show" a late Saturday night syndicated radio show, that could be described as a conversation for exploration - ancient mysteries, new science, alternative health and mind-body-spirit. "The Voice of Wellness" with the late great Robert Crayhon airing in America's number one radio market on WOR in NY. The "The Tony Trupiano Show" starring her favorite Michigan Liberal talk show host and friend Tony Trupiano who recently made an amazing run for Congress. (Go Tony Go!) "The Money Pit" hosted by Tom Kraeutler and Leslie Segrete. Home repair and remodeling is a favorite pastime of Pam's who often boasts that her workshop has more power tools than Tim the Toolman Taylor!
Pam was the co-creator and co-executive producer of the multiple award winning "Healthy Living with Jane Seymour" television series. She served as script writer and line producer. She also served as an executive director of "Soy Matters" a cooking show concept series about everything Soy good.
Pam is an accomplished writer having written award winning ad campaigns for many products, television treatments and concepts.
Pam is web mistress of this - and many web sites - including her own Central Arkansas Real Estate website www.PropertyByPam.com. She is a Realtor® with Coldwell Banker in Arkansas where she recently moved to be near family, specializing in problem properties.
